Entertainment for all
This Easter, Wyndham Grand Algarve has curated a programme full of fun experiences, ranging from a live-music dinner on Good Friday to Easter egg hunts, reptile and bird shows, and relaxing wellness moments, as well as different family activities such as nature walks and bike rides.

“We’ve curated experiences that children can do by themselves but also with their parents. We want to create memories together for families,” explained Joana Silva, Director of Guest Experience at Wyndham.
Over two weeks, Easter traditions will be explored in creative and exciting ways across the five-star resort nestled in the heart of Quinta do Lago. “The egg hunt is absolutely unmissable,” highlights Joana Silva, as she reveals that parents and children will have the chance to explore the hotel gardens in search of hidden treasures, with plenty of surprises along the way.

The Kids Club will also host a range of activities, where children will have a chance to play traditional games, decorate a hot-air balloon, paint eggs and t-shirts or take part in a pastry workshop. These activities are free to attend for both hotel guests and non-guests.
This year’s programme also introduces something exciting: Dance Camp. Children aged 6 to 12 can sign up for the camp, where they will learn different dance styles, such as Hip Hop, Ballet, and Street Dance. “It’s a great opportunity for the little ones to make new friends and, above all, have fun creating new memories,” says Joana Silva.
The Dance Camp will run from April 8-11, with daily classes from 10.30am to 12.30pm, culminating in a performance on April 12 at 11.30am. A second round of the camp will be held from April 15-19, with a performance on April 20. Children are welcome to participate in one or both weeks. The Dance Camp costs €199 per children per week.

On Good Friday, April 18, a special dinner will be served at the Caravela Restaurant from 6.30pm. The menu will celebrate the best of Algarvian cuisine, highlighting local ingredients with specialties such as fish and seafood cataplana and lagareiro-style octopus, and traditional oven-baked lamb. A selection of fine drinks, carefully selected by the team to complement the dishes, will accompany the meal. To finish on a sweet note, desserts will include several traditional Portuguese offerings, such as folar algarvio and pão de ló de Ovar. Children aged 10 and under can dine for free, whilst the dinner for adults is priced at €68 per person. Face painting will also be available to entertain the little ones.

Although the Easter activities are geared toward families with children, adults can also indulge in exceptional moments with the resort’s Wellness programme, which includes three free classes a week and access to a spa menu.

Nestled the serene Ria Formosa Natural Park, Wyndham Grand Algarve offers an unmatched combination of stunning surroundings and unparalleled service. Whether enjoying a meal at the XXL by Olivier restaurant, unwinding at the Grand Bar & Lounge, or savouring a delectable dish at Caravela, guests are treated to an experience that balances luxury with the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Portugal is known for.
As well as the Easter programme being available to the general public, the restaurants, spa, and gym can also be enjoyed by outside visitors.
