This year’s event promises to be the largest edition yet
The 14th edition of the Portuguese Wine Show (“Grande Mostra de Vinhos de Portugal”) returns to Espaço Multiusos de Albufeira from Friday, April 11, to Sunday, April 13.
This year’s event will feature 120 winemakers and an expanded selection of 800 wines, making it one of the largest wine shows in the country.
New additions will include an extended gastronomy area and the debut of a confectionery section, offering participants a more immersive experience.
The programme will also include the 10th Portuguese Wine Competition, which will evaluate around 150 wines – a record number for the competition.

Public interest in the event has grown significantly, with last year’s edition attracting 9,000 visitors. The organisers – the Bacchus Brotherhood of Albufeira, in partnership with the Albufeira City Council and with support from the Algarve Tourism Region and APAL – hope to replicate last year’s success.
The event will run daily from 3pm to 8pm. Admission is free, but visitors must purchase an official tasting glass for €5 to participate in the wine tastings.
